So you think you might want to join our humble organization...

Here are some of the things you will need to know:

We are only accepting Sponsored Applications at this time. So you will need to first find an active full member to sponsor you. Members are only allowed to sponsor one applicant at a time so don't everyone go asking the same guy.

After you are done lurking about the public forums, introduce yourself! Keep in mind that most of our discussions happen in the private sections but this may be the easiest way to start making contact for many of you.

Introduce yourself to members in public. We do have the occasion to go out in public with a fez on. Go ahead and say hi ...but let me save you a little time and answer the obvious question. If you want to know where we got the hat we will most likely say Fez-o-rama. This is where we will send anyone that is just interested in getting a hat. If you want to put in the effort to go thru the application process and possibly be asked to join the Cult of the Eye then you may as well skip the hat question seeing as how you are already reading about it here.

We are selective in who can become a member. This is mostly to do with people not really wanting to be members but only think they do. We are not the right group for everyone. In fact many people probably find us quite tedious.

Feel free to ask questions. We may even answer some! This is a "secret society" after all.

It is more difficult for "out of town" people to join our ranks

This is just the nature of being someplace we are not. We are not an online community. We actually get together and do stuff. This often involves travel to different locations to join up with other members, but truth be told, the majority is travel between SoCal and the Bay Area and damn near everything happens in California. We would love to travel far and wide but that just never seems to come together.

Well if that isn't a big turn-off then you may actually be in the right place.
